Tell it what you're building, and every answer comes back aimed at your company, pointing to the exact video and second it came from.
What does it cost, and is there a free plan?
Yes - chat with any channel already in the catalog for free, no card required. Plans start at $19/month for more messages, project room, and the ability to request new channels for the library, charged immediately and cancel anytime.
Do creators need to approve this, or get paid?
No approval is required to add a public channel - ClipDog works from what's already publicly posted on YouTube, the same way a viewer watching and taking notes would. If a creator asks us to stop processing their channel or remove its public pages, we honor that request.
How accurate are the answers?
Very good, but not perfect - ClipDog is an AI system summarizing spoken content, and it can occasionally misread a name or nuance. That's exactly why every answer carries a timestamp citation: you can always click through and confirm what was actually said, in context, in seconds.
Is my data private?
Your chats, memory, and any files you upload are yours - we don't sell personal data, and creators never see who's asking about their channel. Channel transcripts come from public YouTube videos and are shared across every ClipDog user, the same way a public library book is shared, but nothing about how you use it is.
What if a channel I want isn't in the library yet?
Any paid plan can request it - tell us who, and once we've read their whole catalog, it's ready for you (and everyone else) to ask, no upload or setup on your end.
Can I chat with more than one channel at a time?
Yes - start a chat scoped to one channel, then @mention another mid-conversation to bring a second, or third, expert in for that turn without losing the original scope.
What can't ClipDog do yet?
It won't watch a private, members-only, or age-restricted video, and it can't process a livestream until it's over. Outside of that, if a channel has posted it publicly, ClipDog can learn it.
